No real spoilers in the ad which I think is a bit misleading, but my comments may have some...spoilers that is. So here's the address: http://www.spikeonangel.com/gallery/tvguide/ep508.html and here's some spoiler space: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 OK, it's a nice shot of JL/Dru up front, but what's with Angel and Spike in the background? I think they're supposed to be fighting, but they look more like they're about to embrace (and with vamps fighting and sex appear to be closely linked anyway), and that, combined with the slogan that they fought for centuries over women and are now about to stop that...well, words fail me! I think it's also misleading about the episode which, as I understand it, is more about Spike and Angel fighting over who gets to shanshu than over women. The Dru stuff is all flashbacks, most of it showing Angel being Spike's Yoda. To be fair, that sounds a bit slashy too since he does it because he's tired of always being surrounded by women and wants a guy companion. It also sounds like a good explanation of why Angel can't stand the sight of Spike. Dru may have been the worst thing he ever did, but I suspect we're going to find out that "creating Spike" was the second worst. himiko

It was a time of great turmoil. The strong preyed on the weak, dogs and cats lived together. Well in all fairness, Angel does have his hands on Spike's throat. Of course other than that little detail, it does look like they're doing the tango. -- I think the fans will always find ways to torture themselves with or without our help. -- David Fury Roberto Castillo robertocastillo@ameritech.net http://www.freewebs.com/robertocastillo/

Which means that by episode 8, Spike must now have a material throat for Angel to place his hands *on*, unless this was a specially posed photograph and is deliberately misleading. That may be the single most spoilery aspect of the advert, BTW. It's clearly modern-day Angel and modern-day Spike who are grappling ... not Angelus and recently-vamped William. Maybe other spoiler discussions have covered this already; I'm only half spoilt so I don't actually know! In any case, rather naughty of the network to be giving this away. In any case, what a nice photo of Dru/Juliet Landau. Interesting how she sometimes looks goofy, sometimes bewitchingly beautiful. This qualifies as a "beautiful" shot, I think. Gert
