Your comment about the line: "Classic Faith. All Hail Dushku!!!!!!" Suggested to me you were crediting ED with having come up with the line, rather than merely having read it. And by the same token, "Faith" did not come up with the line either. That's all. Praise ED for her delivery if you want, but the writer (unless someone established ED ad libbed it) gets the credit for the line's existence. Ken

That's where > the actor/ess comes in. Agreed, but more often than not (of course, not in ED's case <g>) actors are the cattle Hitchcock said they were. The writers and the directors make them look good. Having rewatched "Salvage" I'll add whoever did the music for that ep did a real nice job--it helped like Christophe Beck's used to. Particularly when Faith comes out into the prison yard. Stupidly, I didn't catch his/her name. Ken

GOD Ken, (No I'm not saying you are God!) Some of the people like you on these boards sure are anal retentive FUCKS! I am the original Poster of the "Faith's Line" message. I was simply making a comment about how I liked one of FAITH's lines. AS a character. Obviously She didn't write the script. As for Dushku she is HOT that's all I'm saying. Now you need to nit pick everything people say. Nit pick this "Go Fuck a dead pig in the ASS Ken" For everyone else. Faith the Character RULES !!! Dushku the Actress RULES !!! I'd watch her read the alphabet anything just to see her. Having her in Buffy AND Angel...Whooohoooo!!!! Only thing better would be her own Buffy spin-off. 5 x 5 KenM47 wrote: > Rick S <rick-sam@shaw.ca> wrote: > > >>kenm47@ix.netcom.com (kenm47) wrote in >>news:4c527512.0303100945.589e2d3c@posting.google.com: >> >> >>>Rick S <rick-sam@shaw.ca> wrote in message >>>news:<Xns9339DC34C98A9ricksamshawca@24.71.223.159>... >>> >>>>James <55@hotmail.com> wrote in news:3E6C01F9.2060603@hotmail.com: >>>> >>>> >>>>>Why I like faith: >>>>>Quote from episode "Savage" >>>>> >>>>>"Once you learn to ride a "Biker" you never forget how" >>>>> >>>>>Not sure if many people caught that....Classic Faith. >>>>>All Hail Dushku!!!!!! >>>> >>>>I caught it and I thought it was a good, but I believe the actual >>>>line was "just like riding a biker" >>> >>> >>>And I assume the line came from the writer, not the actress. Next time you might want to try reading the whole thread, or even the prior posts quoted in a response. My first post in this thread was: "And I assume the line came from the writer, not the actress. I imagine you correct spelling mistakes too, and grammar online. The guy liked the line and the actress, and you have an ENTIRE conversation with a bunch of posts dealing with the actor's, writer's, director's and possibly the craft service's contribution to the line. So the guy calls you out on it, and you get defensive, instead of saying, "yes, I have no life. I correct people online to give my life meaning, then I have inane conversations about the corrections." So the first poster posted again and brought it up, and you simply didn't own up to your own anal retentiveness. You made fun of the guy, when you obviously were being a ridiculous nitpicker. You didn't own up to it. Regards, C-WASP PS - I guess my post to you is less than super nice. (by your logic this statement gets me out of jail free for acting like an ass.)

He quoted where he owned up to it. If you're going to criticize what people say, you should pay attention to what they've said. This is something I've noticed about the Internet: Inaccuracy really gets in the way of people thinking you're right.

Everybody's got something that twists them up; nitpickers seems to be yours.... If they're willing to acknowledge it as a personal thing and they don't offer their corrections in a squashing sort of way, I'm willing to let it slide. I don't think Ken's original nit was harshly delivered, and James' initial response to that was puerile.
