Sure, it made sense with BTVS, considering the context and all. But with ATS, why maintain The Big Lie, The Big Secret of both series: That there are monsters that go "Grrr" in the night (and sometimes the day). What would have to change about the episodes we've seen this season? All the characters they associate with are in on the secret. The helpless they help find out about it. Sure, the wolfgal's sister and niece didn't know, but even if the show went public with the Big Secret, the wolfgal might still not want anyone to know about her own secret. Even much of last season could have remained fundamentally the same. -- Ken from Chicago
