Ok, my theory is not the bunnies. It is having been a cheerleader at Sunnydale High. Her self-possessed snottiness has merely grown beyond mere mortal proportions. I know what I now must do. I must get the cheerleader captain from my old high school before she gets us all. I must get her with extreme prejudice, before she gets us all.

Out of the ether Jerry Davis <jjdavis2@flash.net> rose up and issued forth: >Ok, my theory is not the bunnies. It is having been a cheerleader at >Sunnydale High. I don't know if this has been suggested before, but it is possible that Cordy is actually still a higher being, and this is not Cordy at all. After all, had none of Cordy's memories at first until they did a spell to give her Cordy's memories, when Lorne read her his head was full of all this info on The Beast in a language nobody could make out. I am thinking that it is because that wasn't Cordy that Lorne read at all, but the Beast's Master (The First?), which would explain why it had all the info on the Beast in it's head, and why it is in an ancient and untranslatable language, since it may be the First's native tongue, which predates everything. Cordy is possibly still up with TPTB ranting about "How can you guys not know that this cheap bimbo isn't *ME*?!?!" -- Cyo cyohtee@ucan.foad.org http://www.barbarian.org/~cyohtee http://www.barbarian.org Ferengi Rules Of Acquisition 229 - Latinum lasts longer than lust.

Mind you, I am undecided, but it is conceivable that what came back may not have been Cordelia. The current Cordelia had none of her past memories until Lorne's spell conveniently restored them in "Spin the Bottle." I cannot commit because there is nothing to say that this is the only answer. But I think it is a reasonable one. -- Be seeing you, Growltiger
