2003-01-07 21:37:22-08:00 - Buffy's Gonna Die. NOT. Sort of... - (pzale@hotmail.com)

Well, okay, after "Showtime" it seems the possible ending of this all is Buffy does not "die" per se, but the spell that brought her back is reversed. They mentioned it could happen in the second episode of Season Six. That seems to satisfy everything. And Buffy wakes up in the hospital. They will show that this is not "reality" per se but another dimension. The "heaven" dimension (heaven being reality, right?) And who should wake up in the padded cell next to her, but one Mr. William What's-his-name (after dying heroically in the Buffyverse) and only he and Buffy will know... Ah, if it were true...

Instead, as they awake, Buffy looks out the window to see the portals opening (no Slayer death to stop Glory in this dimension) and the humungous dragon flying through. Then the whole hospital turns into the Geigerish thing with the demon head protruding...and the show ends. himiko

The resurrection of Buffy also created a non-corporeal demon, and the destruction of that demon in it's non-corporeal form would have reversed the spell afaik. But then again, I still have to see 'Showtime'. I'll read the synopsis again. > > > >And Buffy wakes up in the hospital. They will show that this is not > >"reality" per se but another dimension.
