Ive seen quite a few posts listing favorite funny, sad, etc. scene. Ive decided to forego all categories and just list things about the show that Ill always remember, whether a line, scene, reaction shot, whatever. This isnt a definitive list, just me putting stuff down on page as they occur to me. In Welcome To The Hellmouth, Giles seemed a little creepy to me. I wonder if he was told to play it that way. Willow panicking and running off the stage at the end of The Puppet Show. Willow looked pretty hot in her "ghost" costume in Halloween. Poor Buffy, when newly evil Angel tears her heart out (figuratively) after they sleep together. Jenny backs away from Giles touch at the end of The Dark Age. Oz calmly makes a phone call to see if his nephew Corey, who bit his finger, is a werewolf. Buffy, wearing just a raincoat, tries to seduce Xander, who is stronger than I would have been. In the same episode, Jenny also looks pretty hot lusting after Xander. Buffy and Willow reacting to the news of Jennys death. While Xander is bitching at Spike in his swinging base- ment pad, Spike picks up a wrench to bash his brains in, and his chip kicks in. Xander never knows. Buffy, Willow, and Cordy reacting to Xander wearing his slingshot in Go Fish. Willows resolve face looks a lot like her everyday face. SMG did an incredible job at the end of Becoming. Shes a much better actress than most people seem to give her credit for (Scooby Doo not withstanding). She also showed her chops in Normal Again. And completely dropped the ball in Gone. Willow in her wheelchair at the end of Becoming. Pat from Dead Mans Party just gave me the wiggins. Im sure shes a very nice lady in real life, but man, she was just so creepy. Harmony and Xanders bitch-slap fight. Best fight scene ever! Anya, laughing and cutting up her face in (I think) Afterlife. Almost everything in The Body, but especially Willow not being able to find the blue. This is the very first scene of Buffy that I ever saw, and it hooked me, and so did Willow. This is always the first thing I think of when someone says "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." And when Xander is cleaning his cut, Willow takes Taras hand and silently mouths "I love you" to her. One of many little human touches that seem to have disappeared lately. Dawns meltdown reaction to the news of Joyces death, and then Dawn *almost* touching her mothers face. Ill also always remember this as the episode that DIDNT need a vampire the most. I really wish they had left that guy out at the end. "Did anybody order an apocalypse?" Glorys apartment shaking as if in an earthquake, as Willow bursts open the door, floating in and giving us a hint of how powerful she will become. "Oz, dont you love me?" Willow reacts to the news that Oz is leaving. "Prince of Night, I summon you. Come fill me with your black, naughty evil." Willow gets sarcastic with her mother. And maybe sets the stage for Dark Willow? Did Satan actually fill her with evil? Even black, naughty evil? Nah, probably not. Literally everything in Doppelgangland. Anya discovers that the secret way of seducing a 17 year old boy is for a woman to appear in front of him naked and calmly say "Lets interlock." Buffy didnt go far enough. Buffy fights Faith to save Angel. Great fight. "Kill us both, Spock!" Xander is a bad influence on himself. Olaf the Troll, one of the best Monsters of the Week ever. And I really liked Willows look in that episode. She went from cute to beautiful. The Buffybots ability to flash a smile to rival the sunrise. Taras solo in Once More With Feeling. The "Goodbye To You" ending of Tabula Rasa. "Buffy strong!" I kinda liked Beer Bad. Cave Buffy rules. "By the way, I like your dress." The Master shows that a really good big bad has a sense of humor and style. Adam, take note. "Can I be blind, too?" Buffy and Spike get engaged. "You should be with the one you l-love." "I am." Willow and Tara consummate their relationship (at least I assume they do). Sorry, but I loved Willow and Tara as a couple. Or maybe Im just a big fan of lesbians. No, thats not it. I hate Kennedy. A Gentleman floating past the window as Olivia looks out. I like the way they floated everywhere, like they were so evil that the Earth itself wouldnt allow them to touch it. "Bloody hell!" Giles drunken reaction to the news that W/T are a couple. In Restless, Harmony playfully biting at Giles as they get ready for the play. Willow and Tara in the ice cream truck. Xander and Willow holding up lighters as they do research and Giles sings "And try not to bleed on my couch." "Bear! You made a bear!" "I didnt mean to!" "Undo it! Undo it!" Wow, now I cant remember the name of the episode. Pangs? Dawn strips herself and Buffy naked, and joins her in the shower to help her lather up every inch of her body after Buffy spent 147 days lying in the same clothes she was buried and rotted in. OK, this one only happened in my head, but Ill never forget it, anyway. Maybe itll be an extra scene on the DVD, you know, as an Easter Egg. -- Kel _______________________________________________________ "Oh, Buffy. You really need to have every square inch of your ass licked." Darth Willow, kinda gay.
