Is it just me or has anyone else thought that there is a similarity between the character Birkoff and the character Radar from M*A*S*H? The haircut, the glasses, the voice, even the name! Birkoff vs. Gary Berghoff! Also the way that the character is positioned sort of midway between the top Operations (Colonel Potter) and the grunt operatives in the field (Hawkeye and BJ) and is sometimes called upon to act as go-between for one group or the other.
