SPOILER... How did TV know that he would be shot if he showed up at the pier? Without him knowing this his plan would have come to nothing, as the fake TV would have shown up, talked with the public defender, and the two would have simply realized they had been duped. TV would have accomplished as much by just skipping town, unless he knew that he would be shot before getting to say anything to the PD. Any takers? ---------------------------------------------------------------- Jeff Mather Senior, Computer Engineering jmather@lectura.cs.arizona.edu University of Arizona

You are right I think. I don't see how he could have known what would happen. Its also a little stretch that he assumed he could record something worthwhile using from the phone conversation. Perhaps he just wanted to cause a ruckess in case it was a trap of some kind. He probably needs to get his kicks where he can since they are few and far between in his situation.

It was apparently an accident that the double got killed. What he did figure out is that the public defender was steering him the wrong way, and he decided to send his double into a dangerous situation instead of going himself.
