1996-07-04 00:00:00 - The Final Plans for the Larry Hertzog Chat - (whtrose@eskimo.com)

Hi all, I just got off the phone with Larry and we worked out the final plans of the IRC chat. Here is the plan: Date: Weds, July 10th Time: 6:30/7 PST, 7:30/8 MST, 8:30/9 CST, 9:30/10 EST Channel: #nowhere-man on IRC (Internet Relay Chat). If you do not have this program I will post a web site where you can download the program. I will also post a list of servers to use while on IRC. How the chat will go: 1. Per Larry's request the chat will be moderated, and only he, I and a helper for me if needed will have voices. 2. I asked Larry if he would mind having one person at a time having a voice to ask a question and then a follow up question and he said that was fine with him. 3. Larry made another thing clear in our conversation, if you are coming to this chat hoping to find answers to clues, he wants you to know that he didn't write the show with clues in mind and will probably say he will not answer clue related questions, this is just to warn you. So it's best not to waste your two questions trying to ask clue questions. If I have anything more to add betw. now and July 10th I will post it. Till next time Sonja Marie - The White Rose @-->---- http://www.eskimo.com/~whtrose/sonja.html Co-President of the Jeff Fahey Internet Fan Club http://www.eskimo.com/~whtrose/fahey.html Owner of the Jeff Fahey Mailing List (for info e-mail me) Owner of the Paul Wylie Mailing List (ditto) On IRC - SonjaRose on Channels: #FaheyFans and #nowhere-man

Well, since Larry lives in L.A. year-round, while I just pop in occasionally for business, I'd like him to clue me in on what this dope Anna Eriksson sees in Lyle Menendez to make her want to marry him. Personally, I've never married a pen-pal while in prison. Will I be allowed to ask Larry? Alan Tucker

Some asked: Will this be on Efnet or Undernet or Dalnet or *net*... I (Sonja) reply: it will be on the Efnet. If you have any other questions email me and I will try to answer them. In that last chat session you said you wouldn't take any clue questions. I'm sure you're holding on to find out what will happen with NM's future, but when will you know if anything is official? If you aren't a part of it if/when it comes back, would you tell us the plans you had for the final episode? I'd really appreciate it if we had an official "day of bean spilling" to look forward to.

I agree, the last episode answers a few things but brings up many more things. While I have come up with theories of my own regarding certain unanswered events in the last episode I'd still be very interested to see what ideas and thoughts you had for the next season... Oliver.

On 22 Jul 1996, Jason Conrad wrote: > Ideas that Larry HAD? Save the show! Visit my site! > No offense Jason, but Larry has indicated many times that the show is EXTREMELY likely to continue without him if it doesn't stay dead. The FAQ has some good quotations from Larry about his troubles, so you might want to read up on that before you try to save the show. I liked the "networked" NM enough to watch it occasionally if it were brought back, but I wouldn't be a regular viewer like I used to be. If you want more "Marathon" and "Callaway" type episodes, that's all a matter of your stylistic preference -- Just don't expect to see another "Spider Webb" if the show is resurrected.
