1998-05-25 00:00:00 - classic OL music? - (tanaleaf9@aol.com)

A few years ago a CD came out with music from 3 (and ONLY 3) episodes from the original series. There was word of subequent releases, but nothing since.... I think the music from the old series is such great stuff it NEEDS to come out on CD, and not just the tiny sample that did. So much of it is so great... lush symphonic scores in the first season by Dominic Frontiere, as well as the arguably tackier but still interesting (with that haunting theremin or similar electronic effect) second season music by Harry Lubin. Any hope for more classic/original-series soundtrack releases?

I asked this question here earlier, also. I certainly agree that more needs to be released, such as the music from Forms of Things Unknown and Zanti Misfits, plus many more. I also heard that GNP Cresendo was going to be releasing at least two more CDs of OL music. Let's all email them and ask when this is going to happen. With the success of the new series they should go the way of the Zanti Misfits...."Our opportunity is NOW!"...and release more music right away. (Would also like the Lubin music, but only after all of the Frontiere music is released.) Guy PS Your handle reminds me of something....hmm, let's see. Oh yeah, the leaf from the thanatos tree!
