1999-05-01 00:00:00 - OL mini-marathon on Showtime - (pwinter@best.com)

I see by Showtime's May schedule that they're doing 4.25 hours of nonstop Outer Limits on Friday, May 14th. I'm surprised that they'd interrupt the smooth flow of "Total Recall 2070" just as they're trying to get folks to watch it regularly. But mine is not to reason why. Anyway, here's the schedule for that night: 05/14/99 8:00PM The Outer Limits: Sandkings [the pilot!] 05/14/99 10:00PM The Outer Limits: Tribunal [NEW EPISODE] 05/14/99 10:45PM The Outer Limits: Human Operators [from Season 5] 05/14/99 11:30PM The Outer Limits: Valerie 23 [from Season 1] And here's a bit of novel programming: they're running the OL mini-marathon on all three Showtime channels simultaneously! Then at 12:15 the channels split back into separate programming. Weird... But I haven't had access to Showtime2 or 3 since I moved to Cincinnati. The mini marathon is undoubtedly in celebration of that landmark. It's only the 100th episode if you count "Sandkings" as two episodes. That's the way it's aired in syndication, but on Showtime, it's only ever aired as a single double-length episode. --- jayembee (Jerry.Boyajian@eds.com) "Hey! The Showtime website has a list of all 100 each of which is called "hour" rather than "episode" though everywhere else they use "100th episode".
