I started watching this episode in the wee hours of the morning and couldn't keep awake. I fell asleep about fifteen minutes from the end of the show. What happened to the senator? Did he get out of the plane? Was that time traveler real or was the senator going nuts? Thanks Heather

Here's what happened at the end... He eventually tries to escape the plane and he magically lands safely, or so he thinks. The woman approaches him and tells him that he is the corrupt president she was talking about. He then asked why she saved him and she simply replies, "Who said I saved you?" He falls onto a car and dies on impact. The plane lands safely and the campaign staff are somewhat startled by his death. His lover simply stares at a picture of him as she cries. I guess it could be argued that he was nuts (the way they showed it seemed like he could have just imagined the time traveler), but I'm not so sure myself...
