considering the new Outer Limits, I would say that there is no such thing as a the best episode because there are so many great ones, but easily one of my absolute favorites is A Stitch in Time, and considering the Classic episodes, same thing...there is No 'Best' episode because there are so many great ones. I personally like 'The Guests' ..the whole tone and feel of it, but The 6th Finger , Demon with A Glass Hand and perhaps the greatest is 'Architects of Fear'...now this last episode I mentioned, could possibly be the very best episode of both series. But the whole concept of having a 'best' this and a 'best' that...is sort of tedious and usually totally wrong. Consider the recent 100 movies chosen by the American Film Institute. They may have been right about Orson Welle's Citizen Kane... but get serious...I wouldn't put a film like 'Gone With The Wind' anywhere even near my favorite hundred movies. What an atrocious movie. I liked Waterworld ten times better.
