Anyone from the staff of the production company for OL actually looks in this NG .... heh, at least they'd find out that there ARE people actually watching ... and that it would also be a message to them to keeping OL going for as long as possible .... cant have one of the coolest shows on t.v. get cancelled because they think no ones watching .... just kind of curious. anyone think its possible they do? :) hmmm..... but then again, showtime IS a premium channel, which means they dont really need ratings (right? :) I'd just hate to see it end, with just a 132 episodes (eh, including that for season 6 that is)

>Anyone from the staff of the production company for OL actually looks in >this NG .... heh, at least they'd find out that there ARE people >actually watching ... I know there USED to be people involved in the show that lurked in this NG, but they have moved on to other things. Lesser things, in my opinion, but that's fine. Different strokes and all that. I do not know if any of the current OL staff check this ng out periodically. It would be ridiculous not to check sources like this periodically to see what the viewers are talking about... believe me, your comments are indeed welcome! Fantastic! If you dont mind this question, I'm wonder whether season 6 actually will be the finale season of the new outer limits, or if there will be seasons after that? I know probably at this point in time, you might not be able to answer that question, but then again, I guess who BETTER to ask that question, than the staff OF O.L., eh? I just think it would really stink for a show like this to get cancelled or ...whatever. I think personally there have been WAY more outstanding and/or very good episodes, excellent stories and really nice suprise guest appearences by some very well know, and respected actors and actresses! On a side note, I think (contrare to what some have said in the past) todays methods of cinematography, and of course the special effects that are present in the episodes enhance them even more. Giving a much more detailed perspective to the viewer(s) as to what the script and writter(s) envision as to what the events are that are taking place, and how its effecting the characters in the episodes story without destroying character development or the story in the process! Although I, personally, cant say that I know exactly how the original episodes of O.L. were (since they were going before my time, and even most of the reruns of the original I missed out on because I really didnt know O.L. existed or what it was for that matter! :), and how they might have, or do differ from O.L. today, I dont exactly see how the stories have become less interesting. Usually, at the end of each episode the control voices summery (if you didnt quite catch on to what was going on in the episode) makes sense. Well, anyway...that was a bit of a mouth full for me, I think all of you have been doing a great job on O.L. today, keep up the good work, I hope to look forward to many more! >> "We" are writers, producers, editors of O.L. - and we appreciate the >comments, both positive and negative.

Then do yourself a favor and view some of the original episodes, which are available on video (I've purchased them new at Virgin Records stores and Borders Books). The episodes "The Sixth Finger," "The Man Who was Never Born," "Corpus Earthling," and "A Feasibility Study" are recommended in particular. Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Share what you know.
