I am trying to remember if it was a TZ or OL episode and I think it was neither, BUT. Help me locate this show. There was a plane, an Army plane and they had lost a wheel or couldn't deploy all the wheels, and they were trying to land, but without the wheel they would all die. Luckily they had a cartoonist on board who drew them a wheel allowing them to land! I'd really like to find a copy of this wherever it came from. Thanks all.

Hi, sounds like Steven Spielberg's "Amazing Stories, Book 1" This was (part of) a TV anthology series he did back in 1985. The ep to which you refer is titled, "The Mission". Starred Kevin Costner, etc. (I think this was one he actually produced and directed. ) ---------- In article <9AwP8.35921$Hj2.3583260805@newssvr12.news.prodigy.com>, "MDM" <mdmcbane@swbell.net> wrote: > I am trying to remember if it was a TZ or OL episode and I think it was > neither, BUT. > > Help me locate this show. > > There was a plane, an Army plane and they had lost a wheel or couldn't > deploy all the wheels, and they were trying to land, but without the wheel > they would all die. > Luckily they had a cartoonist on board who drew them a wheel allowing them > to land! > I'd really like to find a copy of this wherever it came from. > > Thanks all. > > > >

I'll bet this happened all too often in real life in WW II. Al
