Does anyone know when the O.L will be back on sky? It just disappeared from its usual sunday night slot (on sky one at 10.00pm)!!! A distraught fan, john

But OL is alive and well on my Showtime channel and local Fox affiliate. Last Sundays episode was one that I had already partially seen (Second Soul). I thought it was kinda goofy the first time I saw it, and didn't watch it in it's entirety. But I watched all of it this time and liked it.

Schedule: 20:00 - Space Island One 21:00 - The Outer Limits (much more user-friendly timeslot) 22:00 - Millennium (season two) I think... I'm going to _like_ Wednesdays... :) -- Mike Horne mike@whispers.demon.co.uk * http://www.whispers.demon.co.uk "They say life is a river..."

In fact, I'm about to put it on a tape for a friend who doesn't get the show. Eps i chose for this Intro to OL : DARK RAIN VANISHING ACT WHITE LIGHT FEVER AFTERLIFE SECOND SOUL A nice mixture of stories. He doesn't like downer endings so I'm staying away from things like THE DEPROGRAMMERS, which is a favorite of mine . NECRONOMICON, all-instrumental electronic music inspired by H.P.Lovecraft, now available on c-60 cassette. E-mail StoOdin101@aol.com for details.

I haven't seen Vanishing Act or Afterlife yet, but I look forward to seeing them. I'm kinda partial to the downer endings, but I like good endings too. The Message and Inconstant Moon are a couple of my favorite 'good ending' episodes.

'Vanishing Act' - was that the ep with Jon Cryer? If so, great ep.

That ep, which isn't particularly sfx heavy, slowly overtook most of the more pyrotechnic shows of that season to become one of my favorites. Just because of the PERFORMANCES. Same with the 3rd season faves of mine, "Last Supper" and "Dark Rain". Some said the idea of "Vanishing Act" was just a ripoff of DS9's "The Visitor". Might be, I don't know, but I do know that I can relate to Trevor and Theresa McPhee in a way I could NOT with Jake and Benny Sisko! I think I just didn't get it...) I hate replying to say Yes I Agree, but sometimes you've gotta admit, the performances can be the saving grace, even if the SFX are awful (which, let's face it, they have been) >Some said the idea of "Vanishing Act" was just a ripoff of DS9's "The Visitor". *thinks* Nah, that's not right. It does have SORT of the same idea, but it shifts the focus from the person being visited to the person visiting. Lemm explain that: The Visitor concentrated on Jake Sisko being visited by his dead every N years. Vanishing concentrated on McPhee who was the one going through time. Personally, I think both episodes' viewpoint worked, although I like The Visitor, just 'cause I like DS9. > Might be, I don't know, but I do know that I can relate to Trevor and Theresa >McPhee in a way I could NOT with Jake and Benny Sisko! > The new makers of Ice Cream? ;) -- Mike Horne mike@whispers.demon.co.uk * http://www.whispers.demon.co.uk "They say life is a river..."
