Has anyone in this group seen the all episodes during the classic series original run? Just curious. I watched some of the shows during the original run but not all. It was one of my all time favorites but I don't recall all that I watched. The details really escapes me at the moment. The episodes where the guy shoots the lizard thing is one of my all time favorites but I cant remember what happened during that show. bill burks

>Has anyone in this group seen the all episodes during the classic series< >original run? Yes, I have seen all of the original series episodes, and have most of them on tape, omitting only the ones I didn't like. (This taught me a lesson, since so many people have asked about this ep or that one that I don't have, so I have taped EVERY ep of the new OL, even disasters like "Revelations of Becka Paulson" and "Virtual Future".) >The episodes where the guy shoots the lizard thing is one of my all time< >favorites Sheesh! Gotta give me a little more to go on, though I'm GUESSING you're talking about "Fun and Games". Two Earthlings vs. two monsters for the amusement of the decadent aliens from Andara. NECRONOMICON, all-instrumental electronic music inspired by H.P.Lovecraft, now available on c-60 cassette. E-mail StoOdin101@aol.com for details.

NO that is not the one. I remember that one. The episode I am thinking of is set in the future. The lizard thing is from another planet and I believe is somehow poisonous. One of the men in the episode had some sort of patch over one eye. Hope that helps. bill burks : NECRONOMICON, all-instrumental electronic music inspired by H.P.Lovecraft, now : available on c-60 cassette. E-mail StoOdin101@aol.com for details.

>The lizard thing is from another planet and I< >believe is somehow poisonous. THE DUPLICATE MAN, a version of Simak's story GOOD NIGHT MR. JAMES. Guy has a duplicate of himself made to destroy the monster he loosed on earth. The ending of the original story is very New OL-ish; the ending of the OL episode is altered to be upbeat. Yes, you are talking about "The Duplicate Man", starring Ron Randall and Constance Towers, my favorite Outer Limits episode. If you like this, read the short story that it was based on, by Clifford Simak, called "Good Night, Mr. James". Simak is one of my favorite writers. Could be referring to the Megasoid in "The Duplicate Man". That's vaguely lizard looking.
