I am looking for some recommendations for original Outer Limits episodes that would give a good representaion of the music used in the series. For example, The Man Who Was Never Born, has an excellent score that was used in several other episodes. Also, 100 Days of the Dragon has parts of it's score re-used in several episodes. I have the GNP soundtrack CD, which good, but needs to be followed by another volume or two in order to provide some of the other music written for this series. My hope is that someone can point me to 8 or 10 key episodes that would cover most of the music used in the series. Since most if not all of these are available on video cassette, I would then not have to try and guess on my own which episodes would cover what I want. -- Thanks -- Bruce email@example.com -----== Posted via Deja News, The Leader in Internet Discussion ==----- http://www.dejanews.com/rg_mkgrp.xp Create Your Own Free Member Forum

Here's one that isn't obvious, but the score is great -- "The Guests."

The Man WHo Was Never Born Nightmare The Architects of Fear The Hundred Days of the Dragon The Guests Don't Open Till Doomsday Demon with a Glass Hand The Inheritors Some of those eps have music that only appeared once in the whole series (The 100 Days, The Guests, Demon) others introduce themes that became Old Friends to the cowering, shuddering children who got their weekly fix of soul-shattering horror through the series,a nd grew up to be Unofficial Keepers of the Purple Twilight and Sages in all things Outerian. To Luminos with this puerile Star Trek fixation; we Outer Limits fans are the True Believers. "...there is, as they say, a special science against gunshots --- ballistics.
