After watching the episode "A NEW LIFE" from the now-syndicated S7, of OL, it reminds me alot of the episode "RELATIVITY THEORY" - only altered a bit! I mean, RELATIVITY THEORY doesnt seem to have AS dark of an ending, but, still seems simular; humans being kidnapped (or in this case, kind of seduced away), for the purpose of slavery for an alien species! In fact, I think the alien('s) at the ending give a very simular speach to the lone rebel that makes it aboard the ship, as was given to the father in 'THEORY (that also happen to been in the classic OL too)...

I forgot somethings, it kind of seems like some things in OL stories are too simular to that of what I've noticed with a few SG episodes, that is, the stupidity, naivety and gullibility there is, with a community of people. For punishment, the I think either the "father" suggests this, or the "people" of the community, to BURN daniel, and not for killing someone, but, for hitting someone (namely the "father"), and I think even questioning the "father"s intentions!? Is this the same people that hopped on the bus, with a desire for a "new life", now people willing to condemn ONE person to such an excruciateing and barbaric death, as burning a person - this is suppose to be the 20th century, not ...the 16th century?!

You're thinking of FEASIBILITY STUDY...RELATIVITY THEORY is the one about the "primitive aliens" who get slaughtered by a Terran survey team. On a side note, it seems rather discouraging, hearing that apparently only ONE script/story has been produced, contributed not by an actual member of the production team, but a third party, and seemingly only because this person had interviewed one of the ..producer's for OL ... I can see that not ALL contributed scripts/stories would probably get produced (they already probably have close to, or enough OL-writter/producer written stories & scripts to last an entire season), but, I'm hopeing that not many people have tried to do so before, because if there has been a number of people (hundreds, thousands? :), then it doesnt seem like one really has that good of a chance
