I read a message here a few days ago regarding the USA talks. I couldn't find the original thread so I created my own. Here is part of the message I am replying to: >"According to a friend of mine who works at USA Network, Sliders is >indeed being heavily considered. In fact, negotiations are already >underway to buy the show! From what he tells me, Torme has been >heavily involved with the discussions, and that they are not going >to purchase the option on Kari Wuhrer's contract! I hear they are >just going to go with Quinn, Remmy, and Wade if the negotiations hold >up, although Jerry O'Connell may be replaced in the Quinn role, as >he is going to be costly to re-sign. Another interesting fact: John >Rhys-Davies will be offered a recurring role of six-episodes next >year. Okay, so If they are getting rid of Wuhrer, and JRD is only going to be in six out of the fifteen they need, they're going to need a fourth slider. I hereby nominate Jason Gaffney(sp?) as Conrad Bennish. The episodes he was in were some of the best IMO. The conflicts between him and the proffesser made for great character development. Conflicts between Quinn's 'goodie-goodie' attitude, and Conrad's 'whatever' attitude would make for good storylines. During the first two seasons, we fans were begging for his appearance in more episodes. He would make the perfect new slider. Thoughts anyone? -Wrock

there will not be a next season, and if it was USA network that is like a sentance to death anyway. They have ruined many a show that they have picked up, such as TekWar and Forever Knight. Given what they did to those shows, it was better off on FOX!
