If they keep Kari I doubt I will watch it at all - certainly not if I have to pay for it, either through a cable channel or by getting tapes shipped. With the original cast (with or without JRD, but WITHOUT Kari) I would pay for it. Kari reallys stinks that badly ... I really don't think they can fix the show while she's in it. Joe

I don't think it matters at this point. I've heard (and this is not confirmed by any means, but someone who posts at a Sliders board lives near Cleavant and was told this) that Sabrina wants to concentrate on spending time with her new husband, and therefore won't be back to the show. That's unconfirmed though--I sure wish there'd be some sort of official announcement about the cast. I doubt JRD will be back (although maybe for a guest shot he'd come back), and while Torme said Jerry O'Connell would be back, now I hear he's still in negotiations, so nothing is for sure. Same thing with Cleavant, although I hear Kari is already signed (which I have no idea why. She's going to be in the new David Schwimmer film, so it's not like she needs the work. Oh wait--the last Schwim film was The Pallbearer. Guess maybe she *does* need the work) ;-) Well, if Sabrina doesn't return and the writers continue to try to feed us the hokey Quinn/Maggie storyline..well, I won't be a regular viewer. Glad I've still got *some* shows that don't let me down, like "Homicide:Life on the Streets". Even though it's lost a step or two from the first couple of seasons, it's *still* miles ahead of anything else... Shannen

We'll never know if Sabrina could have improved--I've heard from two sources that she's either gone or on the way out. If they *do* move filming back to Vancouver, I hvae ot wonder if Cleavant would come back as well--after all, he's got a wife and kids who are LA based, and I'm sure he'd like to stay there. I don't think he's exactly *hurting* for work--I've heard he's started a new movie this past week. I do have to wonder about Kari resigning (an no--that isn't a bash at Kari). If the show is moving to Vancouver--well, she's got a husband in LA. Doesn't seem like she'd just want to pack up and take off, even though they may only be up there for 6 months or so. And she's not exactly hurting for work either--she's in Chicago right now shooting a new film with David Schwimmer. So it's just got me wondering, that's all. But back to what I was originally saying, if the group dynamic changes too much (ie, losing both Wade and Remmie) then I think the writers are going to have a huge challenge to overcome, and no matter what they write, I think they'll leave a lot of people disappointed. I just don't think that a series focusing just on Quinn and Maggie is going to be interesting enough. I just can't see watching a show focusing on the two shallow characters (although Quinn *used* to have depth)...I don't think that would hold my interest for that long. Shannen Shannen

She's much more enjoyable as a villain than a good person. Watching her beat the crap out of john during the Berkley (i think) riot was to cool. And i think that john and whatshername are equally as good toether, I mainly want it back to see how it ends. At least as tele-movies.

I really enjoyed DARK SKIES. From the viewpoint of someone who lived through almost all of the show's timeline, it was a hoot to see how DARK SKIES wove actual events into the series. If you're willing to buy into the premise and don't overintellectualize it, DARK SKIES is loads of fun. My favorite episode was the one with Jim Morrison. >g> Regards, Podkayne Fries -- Every time you forward spam to Postmaster@host, an angel gets its wings.
