If you did not like the way the Professor dies blame John Rhys-Davies.. He wrote his own demise and the entire Exodus plot line. He wrote his own death and the end of his character as has been stated before.. My problem with the episode is the way they treated and killed Arturo. 'So the actor wanted to leave' or 'they wanted him to leave'. Either way they should have sent him out in a better way. First of all, he spends the entire episode babbling like an idiot. Then he steps in front of the cheesy-slo-mo bullet. Then they replace him with 'The Breasts' (who by the way does not look like a soldier .....okay maybe a little like "Soldier Barbie", if they made one.) As soon as the show ended, I couldn't stop saying to myself, "Are you kidding??" "That's what they're doing to this show??" Too bad CBS is moving Ray Romano's show to Mondays, because I thought now I would be able to watch it since I'm not sure I will be watching Sliders anymore.

"That's what they're doing to this show??" My thoughts exactly - it was totally lame. It underlined everything that's been wrong with the show this year - the writers/producers have been so utterly incompetent I can't blame JRD for leaving. Joe

How did you want him to die? Personally I thought it was a nice touch that he jumped in front of Quinn and took the bullet. I think that was the only way he could have went out. Trade his life for his friend. Way to Arturo! Brent...

That reminds me of the Barbie Liberation Front. They swappedthe chips in some talking Barbies with the chips from Talking GI Joe. You either got a Barbie which screamed: "Eat Hot Death" (or words to that effect), or a GI Joe which said "Hey Girls let's go shopping" Perhaps they have been at work here? greg Wilson's Second Law e raised to the infinity is greater than 4

I have no objection to the Professor dying by saving Quinn's life. In fact I'm glad he died saving his fellow-Sliders's life, instead of in a stupid and inappropiate way. My problem is the way it was shot (no pun intended). I think that by doing it in slow-motion took away from the fact that this was it for Arturo. He stepped in front of Quinn long before the shot was fired (if I remember correctly)(or should I say-"too long" before the shot was fired) and I was too busy half expecting the bullet to be sucked into the vortex somehow or it not hitting him at all. Maybe I just disliked the fact that during the whole episode the Professor was incoherent. By the time the (gun) shot came around, I was not impressed and I was bothered that that was how it was done. What i just wrote probably makes no sense. So I'll just say again that I didn't like how the Professor was treated in his last episode. You can interpret it anyway you want.
