Well, Julia, something to consider: Anyone discussing season one eps will most likely be newbies and sensitive to having such things spoiled for them. => But I think at some point, you've got to draw a line as to what is a => spoiler for the majority of the group, and what isn't. If go by the => line of thinking that there is a possibility that there are people who => haven't seen every ep, then *every* single post we make is going to have => to include a spoiler header, spoiler space, etc -- which makes posting => more of a big hassle. And if I see something marked as a spoiler, scroll => down through a huge spoiler space, warnings etc, only to find it's dis- => cussing an ep I've seen four years ago, I might be a little ticked. I agree. This is why I suggest that one include the title of the episode in addition to the word SPOILERS in the Subject line. Thus, one knows what is being discussed. Most folks seemed to follow this convention back when the show was still airing. Let us hope that any newbies to the show will watch and pick up such habits. => So I think you've got to draw the line at the majority of the group. The => majority of the group has seen season one, therefore I see no need for => spoilers for that season. Season Four -- certainly I'd vote for spoilers, => although it makes no diff to me since I can't see the show anyway, so it's => not really spoiling it for me, as I'm not going to see them to be spoiled => to begin with. What?? No Shannen?! Say it ain't so! Do you need someone to tape episodes for you? Or have you decided it's just not worth the bother? => Season Three -- sure, since that's the most recent season, and I'd imagine => there are people who haven't seen it. Season Two is debatable. => => We just can't conform to everyone's viewing schedule. I suppose putting => posed it doesn't really effect me. But I thought that maybe the majority/ => minority point needed to be said, as I imagine they'll be new people coming => here going, "You put all the spoiler crap in for the pilot!? That's four => years old!" As I mentioned in another post, the older the ep being discussed, the fewer lines in the spoiler space. I realize that there are going to be folks who simply don't know how old the eps are if they are seeing them for the first time. That's why I suggest the title of the episode as well as the word SPOILERS in the Subject line. => => Shannen -- Official Weird Person of alt.tv.sliders (and whose presence will be sorely missed) James ~~~~~ Excitement. Adventure. These things a Jedi craves not. Whoa, dude! Does that rule out getting laid?! No wonder you are so short and wrinkled.

No--it's not that I've decided it's not worth the bother, and I've had plenty of people offer to tape it for me, but I just hate to put people out, you know. Even when they say it's not a hassle for them, I know that it actually is. And I just hate to put people out like that. > >=> Shannen > -- Official Weird Person of alt.tv.sliders (and whose presence > will be sorely missed) Hey--where's my T-Shirt proclaiming me to be the OWP of ATS, dammit!? ;-D Shannen--who will still be around at times--I'm co-directing the Sliders track here at DragonCon this year, so I have to keep in touch with Sliders fans somewhat...
