Unless they can only slide to worlds where there is a duplicate of each of the sliders. This would explain why they never slide onto an Earth that has no atmosphere, or where the Sun has already expanded into a Red Giant and consumed the Earth. Or where the Earth never formed...

On certain worlds, the sliders will meet alternate forms of themselves, on others they don't. I'm not sure, but is this because on certain worlds, Quinn and the others discovered sliding and have departed, but certain ones didn't? At least one alternate Quinn discovered sliding, shouldn't they all have figured it out? Well, I guess not... Or it could be that by chance, they didn't run into their other selves of course. I was thinking though, if all of the multiples are basically the same person, shouldn't all of the Quinns at least be sliders?

Chocobo wrote: > shouldn't all of the Quinns at least be sliders? No, not all worlds have the technology for sliding. Quinn is dead on some worlds, Quinn had different experiences in life on some worlds and became interested in other things (timre travel, computer programmong, etc). A portion of Quinns should be sliders, but certainly not all. Sam Deth

Some of them did, but most times they don't find their dubles is becuase they were never born- since the history of earth is diffrent in each world, in a lot of them their parents didn't meet.
