I finally got around to picking up the Sliders novel at the local B&N. I devoured it in a few hours the same night. It was great! I usually hate TV-book tie-ins, but the book went into extensive detail, even where 'unnecessary'.-- the extra detail was a welcome change. I never feel as if the show gets enough into the background of the alternate Earths (of course, what can they do with an hour show on a limited budget?), but since the novel is just words on paper, they can go all out with the details. Let's hope more novels follow-- maybe with three TV episodes in each book, in the order they were filmed (and presumably intended to air). ~Philly <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Michael J. Does anyone know if this novel is available in the UK or not? I've not seen it in the local sci-fi shops yet. -- Christine Warren Chris@dreaming.demon.co.uk Owner of Brandon, the maddest cat in the Universe!

Christine, I've had the same problem so I posted for the ISBN number last week on the group and someone kindly listed it for me. I'm going to order it as an import. Let me know if you want the ISBN number and I'll e-mail it to you. Julia London UK Writer -- Julia
