So the second season is officially over, right? Well what happened to all the tangling endings and extra sliders that slid only never to be heard from again. I thought Fox was showing them out of order and they'd pop out down the line. But the season is over and we never saw them. What's Up? Bart

During the first season the Sliders writers tried to use continuity and then Fox went and showed the episodes in a different order (in fact, a scene got cut from Summer Of Love that supposedly totally explained the way Quinn and Arturo rebuilt the timer.) Bob Weiss had stated numberous times that there would be no continuity in the second season because of the way things went during the previous season. Oddly enough I remember reading an interview with either Tracy Torme or Bob Weiss stating that the 3rd season might feature "story-arcs" which hopefully means they convinced Fox to show the epsiodes in their proper order.

There is no continuity to tie up all the irresponsible sliding from the 2nd season! I figure it will take another entire episode to tie up all the loose ends from the 2nd season! We'd just as well assume some big "time-tunnel monster" ate up everyone who wasn't Quinn, Wade, Arturo, or Rembrandt. Either that or they all became Klingons or Kromags or whatever... Greg

Quinn never said he would take her home with her, like a lost puppy. He just intended to take her to a safe world. He probably ditched her after the prison world. This is assuming that it is inhapitable for her. If not, try again. We have to take into account that the timer is broken. It is so broken, it now has to wait for the window of opportunity, when two worlds are at their closest. The last thing the sliders need to do is put more stress on it. They can push it's limit every so often, like with the van on man-killing-virus world, but not slide after slide. Chances are, the cast will have to remain a 4 slider cast.
