I had given up on watching Lois and Clark long ago, but I watched it last week for the heck of it, so I had to watch it tonight (two-parter). Anyways, tonight's episode was better than any recent Sliders episode in that it truly dealt with an alternative world. [Just in case-possible L&C spoiler] The alternate Clark never met Lois, but he was connected with this Lois. His Lois had supposedly died. It was still a pretty cheesy episode, but I couldn't help but think that this was how Sliders used to be, before it turned into 'Monster-of-the-Week'. It was about different worlds where people made different choices, there were different outcomes, and different 'realities'. Or should I say REAL-ities, meaning that the other worlds were still somewhat believable. Unlike the Giant world they went to, just to mention one. I understand that the show has to change and grow, and that characters may come and go. I just don't think it is changing for the better. What does anyone else think? P.S.- If they were going to bring Soldier Barbie on as a serious character, must they parade her around on her first post-Prof episode in Tank-Tops?
