This is strange but I have always thought that the other two recent ST series' "Next Generation" and "Deep Space Nine" got better and better with each new season. The stories got more interesting and complex. Also, over time, the characters on those two ST series' developed more personality and got more likeable. I originally did not like the characters on DS9 and NG but I grew to love them. Voyager is different. I started out loving it. I remember thinking that the show can only get better and better. But I feel that Voyager has actually gone down hill since the first season. The last few episodes have bored me. I feel like they should change the name to "The Jeri Ryan Show" What happened to Tuvok? Tom Paris? Why no episodes devoted to them? I originally thought that Tuvok would be one of the more interesting main characters but they have used him very little. Perhaps the show is trying to increase ratings by adding more kids but they are losing a few viewers, also. I like kids, but not in Star Trek. I hated Wesley Crusher (he always made all the adults look stupid) and I hate Naomi Wildman and the Borg kids. They just don't belong there. Now it looks like they will become central characters. Am I the only one who feels this way? Dave

It looked like it was going to be the best of the modern Treks. But they've never fulfilled that promise. >> Am I the only one who feels this way? << Hell, no. -- Arlie

Well, Tommy had an entire ep to himself ("Alice") and is an important character in lots of other eps (e.g. "Barge of the Dead", "Fair Haven", "Spirit Folk"), so he's not really neglected. Tuvok, OTOH... > I > originally thought that Tuvok would be one of the more interesting main > characters but they have used him very little. he barely shows up anymore these days... > Perhaps the show is trying to increase ratings by adding more kids but they > are losing a few viewers, also.
