At least, that's how it does it on my system. -- This .sig is under construction. Please be patient.

I want to make OE5 download the message bodies for messages whose headers I've already downloaded. Is that possible? If I tell it to "Download all messages" then it downloads all of the posts on my news server - most of which I've already read. If I tell it to "Download new messages", it downloads any posts whose headers I haven't yet downloaded. I seem to remember OE4 having a middle ground where you could download all message bodies for posts whose headers you've got but haven't read yet. Chris W.

Hi everyone. I'm having trouble with that forsaken Outlook Express, and I've downloaded another newsreader that I'm still getting the hang of. Just wanted to make my friends here aware of why I haven't posted much lately. Thanks for your time. -Benji ---------------------------- "We all make our own hell, Mr. Lessing. Same with Winblows 98!! I always thought I was using OE5 (but I guess not). It's terrible. Currently, I'm toying with Netscape Communicator. It's great, but I'm SO used to OE that it's going to take some time to get used to.... You should give it a try.
