Description
The Angeoa is described as being a solid black whale-like :Category:Fish|fish with a humongous dorsal fin. It is reportedly 50-60 feet long. The Inuit believe it is very hostile, and it has been known to overturn kayaks and eat the occupants inside. <ref name=":0" /><ref name=":1">Eberhart, George M. Sightings
In writer and environmentalist Farley Mowat’s book People of the Deer, he tells the story of an Inuit man whose father was killed by the Angeoa in 1899. His father's kayak was overturned by the monster and eaten, along with his companion onboard. <ref name=":0" /><ref name=":1" />
