The Chilean blob was a List of Globsters and Blobs|globster that washed up on Pinuno beach in Los Muermos, :Category:South and Central America|Chile in July 2003.
Description
The Chilean blob was a large mass of tissue that weighed 13 tons and measured 12 meters across. Initially, scientists were unable to identify it. Explanation
In June of 2004, DNA from the Chilean blob was found to be that of a sperm whale.
