Cryptids and Monsters
thumb|240px|Cryptids and Monsters title card">thumb|240px|Cryptids and Monsters title card Cryptids and Monsters is an internet anthology show created by Fernando of Godzilla Movie News, a blog that was started in 2011. The YouTube account for Godzilla Movie News is called williamdefalco and is the account that uploads the episodes of the series. According to Fernando, the username williamdefalco was a combination of his favorite first and last names, as his YouTube account was created before he started making videos. A spinoff series titled Urban Legends premiered April 1st, 2013.
History
The show premiered on December 12, 2012. The show was something Fernando had wanted to do for a while, having seen other videos on YouTube about cryptids, but not being satisfied with how they were presented, having "pictures posted but very little information about them". He created the series to show accurate pictures of the cryptids he covered, but actually speak about them and give as much information as possible about each subject in every episode. The show has since achieved success, having thousands of hits per video.Overview
Each episode of the show features a cryptid or a monster from folklore. Most episodes of the show are generally unscripted. In each episode, Fernando simply explains what each subject is, then goes on to talk about it's history, and finally generally deduces whether or not the subject is real or not, often using scientific facts that prove or debunk whether the subject is real or not.List of Episodes
