thumb">thumbGiddy fish a Fearsome critters|fearsome critter from North America. This fish was said in lore to be able to stretch like rubber. They were commonly encountered in ice drilled holes of lakes during the winter. While being small and almost unnoticeable, they had the great ability to jump out of the water and bounce on the ice, due to its elastic abilities. It was said they were active during all seasons but it was impossible to catch them unless it was winter. They were said to enjoy a taste of fresh air so they would jump out of the water frequently, so if one was to drill a hole in the ice near this fish, it would jump from the hole and land on the ice, suffocating itself.
