Jinshin-Mushi
Jinshin-mushi is an insect from Japanese folklore. It is described as a fist-sized insect that has branch-like appendages sprouting from their thorax that could generate sound waves. The sound waves generated by this creature were capable affecting many different types of minerals that causes them to collapse. A swarm of them can cause a small earthquake. This special ability was influenced by nature to scare rival species from their dens.In Popular Culture
