Anima Vitrus is a living planet in the Milky Way galaxy. Visited at some point in the past by the Ancients, several of their architecture was still standing by the end of the 20th Century. Unlike the stone buildings the Ancients in the Milky Way used, most of the buildings on this planet are identical to the City-ship|cities and Ancient outpost|outposts the Ancients built in the Pegasus galaxy. In addition, the planet was home to several species of megaflora which, by the time that the planet was visited by the Tau'ri, had overgrown the Ancient buildings. Players would have visited this planet in the low-level 40's.

History
At some point after the Tau'ri started sending SG teams to other planets, Anima Vitrus was attacked by an unknown Goa'uld who brought a Ha'tak to the planet, in addition to at least one Death Glider and several of their troops. While in the process of invading the planet, an Asgard along with his drone, a female Jaffa wearing Horus Guard armor, and Human wearing ballistic armor came through the Stargate from the planet Agnos. There they were met by both a Death Glider and several enemy troops, who raised their staff weapons. Behind the group, a fierce battle was taking place between the Goa'uld and other, unknown forces. {{Cite|SGW}}
