Calai was a planet in the Milky Way galaxy that has a Stargate. The planet was formerly inhabited by a race known as the Calaian who fled Calai in Wanderer. Wanderer was an orbiting colony, but residents used the ship to escape System Lord Heru'ur who enslaved the people.
