The Lost City tablet was a tablet that was among the many treasures in Ra's treasure room in his Abydos pyramid|pyramid. Written in one of the oldest dialects of Ancient language|Ancient, it described the history of the Ancients (though omitting their Alteran Home Galaxy|extragalactic origins), how they began to suffer from a Ancient contagion|plague, and either dying or Ascension|Ascending. Dr. Daniel Jackson said that it also made mention of Atlantis|a lost city that contained great technologies, and was made hidden.
