Martin Gero is the writer of many episodes in the Stargate franchise and the director of the Stargate: Atlantis Atlantis Season 5|season 5 episode, "Brain Storm". He is also the Co-Executive Producer for Atlantis. He has since moved on to the show, [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bored_to_Death Bored to Death], and was a Consulting Producer for Stargate Universe.

Gero also wrote, produced and directed the movie wikipedia:Young People Fucking|Young People Fucking, which has garnered critical acclaim (and some controversy) in Canada and has become one of the highest grossing English language Canadian films of all time, staying in theaters for over 14 weeks.
