Dr. Meyers is a scientist who once worked on excavating a Transportation rings|ring transporter on the planet P5X-112 along with his fellow physicists, Dr. Jay Felger and Dr. Simon Coombs, when they witnessed the abduction of SG-1.

Biography
2002
Meyers wanted to follow Colonel Jack O'Neill's orders, but Dr. Felger, the leader of the scientific team, insisted that Meyers go to Stargate Command and inform Major General George S. Hammond of the situation while he and Coombs took action to rescue the team. Dr. Meyers did as he was instructed and returned to the SGC while his teammates took part in their rescue plan.

Meyers offered to be a part of a possible rescue team, but Hammond insisted he wasn't going to sacrifice the lives of good men without knowing what was on the other side. {{cite|SG1|The Other Guys}}
