The Nagasamirian Commissioner was the Elder and leader of the Nagasamirians. 

Biography
Background information
The elder was a friend and trading partner of the Atlantis expedition. He found Colonel John Sheppard and the Tau'ri loyal. Which was a trait he highly valued in his culture and would honour their trade agreements, even when it wasn't necessary. He was an optimistic leader, who appeared to be friendly and polite with everyone, even when his old friend was hostile and disapproved. 

2009
In 2009, Janus and the Unknown Aliens gave his people help in upgrading their town to Lantean Ancient technology|tech level to help secure them against the Wraith, with seemingly no strings attached. Despite the gifts Janus had given his people, the Commissioner valued the Colonel's word more, as the Atlantis expedition had never lied to his people before. The Commissioner's unwavering friendship with the Atlantis expedition would cause his people to be nearly wiped extinct by Janus, as after their talk, the Lantean destroyed their planet by releasing uncontrolled Zero point energy from their new reactor. {{Cite|SGA|Hearts & Minds 2}}
