The Plains of Celestis are a stunningly beautiful land mass, distant from the village of Ver Eger, where the City of Celestis resides. The plains are accessible by transportation rings as well as by ship or foot. In the consciousness of Vala Mal Doran and Dr. Daniel Jackson were taken to the plains of Celestis, via transportation rings, by a Prior (Ver Eger)|Prior of the Ori. {{Cite|SG1|Origin}}
