Santhal is a planet in the Pegasus galaxy, which held a Stargate. In the past its was inhabitated by the Tribes of Santhal, but the population was driven near extincion when the Asurans attacked the planet, in their effort to destroying the Wraith by killing their "food supply". However, few remnants of the population managed to escape through the Stargate to another planet, one of the survivors, Shiana was later on elected as one of the rapresentatives of the Coalition of Planets and try to use her new positionas as a mean to enact revenge on the Atlantis expediction  for their indirect role in the destruction of her home planet.    {{Cite|ATL|Inquisition}}
